Hey guys, I just submitted my N-400 online application today. I have a question regarding to the biometrics appointment notice. How long after submitting the N-400 did you guys receive the Biometrics Appointment Notice?

We just had our credit card charged. My application is paper based because we couldn’t file online. Mailed off on December 16th,  received Dec 18th and charged Dec 20th.

Am I right in assuming that once it is charged, they accepted the application?

Hi I received my biometric appointment letter today for 1/3/2020, forgot to mention my I751 was approved on 12/05, a week before I file N400.
I live in New Jersey, where can I find which local office is processing my application? It states “Service Center: NBC” not sure where.
thanks

You have three local offices in New Jersey.  Here is the link: https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=uscis+office+in+new+jersey&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

You need to find which one services your postal code or zip code. The NBC service center is where your application first gets processed and then sent to the local center in New Jersey.

Not sure what you mean by accepted ? It means they will officially acknowledge receipt and set priority date - but not sure it means more than that at this stage.

Received the same notice this morning. May take a little longer due to holidays.

Since you mailed your form in, I suggest waiting until you get the Receipt Notice that shows the money paid for the N400 application and they assign you a Receipt Number.

Do you have a USCIS account online? IF so, you can sign up for alerts via email so you can add your paper-filed case receipt number and get updates when they work on your case :)

You may get your online alert in 5-7 days.....holidays may affect it but, who knows 🤷‍♀️

The physical letter that comes in your mail all depends on your carrier.

It's easy to find out which local office will most likely (I say most likely because if your local service area is bombarded or are way behind USCIS can move your application to another service area) be handling your application.  All you need to know is your city and/or zip code to find out.  If you go to the USCIS sites that I posted and click on "SERVICE AREA) you will see the cities and zip codes each local site covers.  If you have a difficult time finding  out, just post your zip code and I will look  up your local service area in New Jersey.

Processing times for Mount Laurel: 5 to 10.5 months

Processing times for Newark: 9 to 14 months

I hope your local area is Mount Laurel.

Best

#TRUTH :D

New York and New Jersey have many centers so it's difficult to guess which until you get the actual letter that states where it will be handled.
