You go to review and submit (but NOT signature).  It will let you review it as a pdf.  I tried it on the 16th and 17th, but it printed the old form.  So I deleted it and will start fresh a few days before I am ready to submit.

Hey, for the online filing....once USCIS confirms receipt and you get your first online NOA, there's a hyperlink for View Case Snapshot in the Documents tab. When I checked mine, this is what the form shows:

 

USCIS 
Form N-400 
OMB No. 1615-0052 
Expires 03/31/2019

Guys, on the n400 online application i think they ask if our parents are us citizens. I selected no.

Then they ask if your parents were married before your 18th bday i chose yes. And i chose no that they are not citizens.

 

However, on the print of the n400, in the process of it being converted, i noticed it says "if neither of your parents are us citizens then skip this part " then there's a question below it

Have your parents been married before your 18th bday? I answered yes and no to if they are us citizens.

 

 

Also,a section "current spouse's previous legal name" got filled with my wife's first name.

 

Is this normal ? I only filled her last name under other names used as maiden last name

Just to add ,check ur n400 paper form as i found few instances where information did not translate from online to paper form good.

I used wrong terminology. It's the Receipt Notice and not a Notice of Action.

Hi December Filers!

Getting ready to complete my online form - I thought I was giving myself a week of prep time b/f I could file, and come on here to find out I could've filed almost 90 days ago! lol. How silly do I feel? Doing my 3 yr via marriage naturalization. 

Few questions if anyone knows the answers:

1. If my and my hubby are on a payment plan with our taxes is that considered overdue? 

2. If I got a speeding ticket years ago prior to immigration would I report that as committed an offense? I've seen differing things on this

3. Is there a preferred way to label the files I upload?

4. For bank statements etc. what increments/how many are people typically attaching?

 

Thanks a million! Now that I feel behind the ball I really want to get this all submitted tomorrow! 😁

I started working on my application on the 17th. I just completed the application. When I reviewed the downloaded application, the expiration date is still 03/31/2019. Is yours the same?

Yup, there isn't an updated form for online so you'd see the pdf showing the March 2019 date. Hard copy form is updated so those filing via hard copy form should know that starting 12/16/19, USCIS will only accept the 09/17/19 edition.

Hello! My husband and I just submitted his N-400 online. It seemed way too easy. We had planned to apply in 2016 but got sidetracked by kid #2. He is now eligible under the 5-year rule, which does make it a whole ton easier! I'm so glad to discover we dodged a bullet with the fee increase.

 

The online form was still the 3/31/19 one.

Eeek. On paper I would have labeled everything, but there were no instructions to include anything but the document itself, and I gave them generic names (file1, file2, etc.). I would hope that when an online submission gets printed/transmitted, the applicant's information gets attached to it, but this is USCIS, after all. Hope it will be okay.

I haven't been here in forever. Trying to remember the most basic things, like how to update my signature. Will try to add info to the spreadsheet shortly! Nice to see so many in this thread and be in this boat together. 👍
