Hey guys!

I just came back from my naturalization ceremony. The interview lasted about one hour, going through the N-400 application, taking Civic, reading, and writing tests. I was approved on the spot. Then, a same day oath was performed. I received my naturalization certificate the same day right after my interview.

Thank you guys for all your help throughout the journey!

Best of luck, everyone!!

Hi there, congratulations on your citizenship. Can you share if you did anything special to get it early?

I had filed in Sep 2019 but still waiting for interview letter. It's keeping me from bringing my wife living in another country for a long time now. So appreciate if you can share some information.

Thank you.

I am not sure if I did anything special. When I filed my N-400, I also had my I-751 pending. My I-751 was pending for over 18 months. So maybe that's the difference? I also asked senator to make an inquiry about my I-751 since it was pending too long(did not ask  for help on the N-400).

So maybe I-751 was the difference?

Just got email message that my wife's interview is scheduled. Online portal status still shows old status and no letter in documents tab. How long does they take to upload letter?

Ours showed up within 24 hours.  Others have taken a day or two.
