@Georgia16 I called but i did not get any new information, although looks like there is a minimum processing time and i have not passed that, so a little bit more waiting for me...

That's weird. I just asked for the date and she told me right away.

Things like this really get me riled up

Saw this on the N400 Facebook group from a member going thru Houston:

Applied US citizenship, had an interview on 24th July-20 but when I reached there they said ur interview has rescheduled. What???They did not give any reason too.It is so frustrating.

I think applicants showing up for their interviews need to record or start recording from the time the security at the door says that the facility is closed or that they have no interview scheduled there, etc. It is so easy for USCIS to say the applicant abandoned their interview! USCIS is not effectively communicating with the field offices so either record the interaction or call USCIS right away!

Would probably find the person concerned had ignored a call from an unlisted number or what they thought was a spam number. Heard similar in other cases. The bottom line, annoying as it is, is when you are expecting or scheduled for bios or interviews now...answer all calls even if you think the number looks dodgy!

Funny enough, I do and I tell my husband to do the same for calls on his cellphone as well :D

From the moment I pick up and say "hello" and hear "your # has been selected for xyz yada yada..." or "we have been tying to reach you about your car's warranty..." I hang up and hit Block so fast!

Our nearly 6 year immigration journey has finally come to an end. My husband's oath ceremony was this morning...bright and early at 7:45 am. I wasn't allowed inside, but my daughter and I were waiting outside for him. I am so grateful to be done. I pray all of you get good news soon.

Finally I am done with my journey as well!! I am in this journey since 2016 and USCIS has been on my mind every single day since then!! 😏 It was a tough journey but it taught me patience!! Good comes to those who are honest, hard working and have respect for every single individual!! ❤️ Thank you everyone for your contribution ..

Congratulations.

I feel the same about uscis being on your mind. Funny how I never thought about immigration/immigrants in my country before doing my own journey to USA.

Enjoy not having to deal with USCIS ever again.

I emptied out the drawer with all the paper evidence I’ve been keeping. I found stuff from our denied K1 visa in 2015. The stack is easily a foot tall. I am going to keep the digital stuff on a hard drive just in case. But I am sure we won’t ever need it again.

My interview was finally scheduled today, 7.5 months after filing. I still do not now the date, but I will call them tomorrow. You were right to advise me not to transfer the file. I'm feeling a huge relief.

Is that the new day or rescheduled date? What app is that?

Can you check online on your acct under Documents Tab to see the date?

It is the first interview and it is in Jacksonville, Florida. Let's hope no hurricane will reschedule it. I see nothing new under the Documents tab. The app is called USCIS case notifier.
