Looks like Dallas office is running behind too. :( There are a couple of people waiting on that office and est, completion time for them is 2021 Jan.

Things like this really get me riled up :angry:

Saw this on the N400 Facebook group from a member going thru Houston: 

 

Applied US citizenship, had an interview on 24th July-20 but when I reached there they said ur interview has rescheduled. What???They did not give any reason too.It is so frustrating.

 

I think applicants showing up for their interviews need to record or start recording from the time the security at the door says that the facility is closed or that they have no interview scheduled there, etc. It is so easy for USCIS to say the applicant abandoned their interview! USCIS is not effectively communicating with the field offices so either record the interaction or call USCIS right away!

Well there is also the problem that people show up when interview is cancelled. When we were in the waiting room 2 got sent away. One left right away and the other they had to spend 15 min explaining that they already called them several times and left messages and update to online system that it was cancelled because they hadn’t received their paperwork yet. So it also takes time away from anyone else waiting because they have to deal with that. Right now it just all a big mess they can’t keep up with everything at all.

I 'm just waiting, looks like wont happen for me before until September. Indianapolis must have been really busy :(

Nope haven't gotten it yet and I'm on day 5. I called and got the date because we have to plan as my son have in school and the ceremony is 3 1/2 hour drive away so couldn't wait anymore to know the date.

Oh my bad, so sorry. I am planning to go on a short vacation too, i need to plan a little bit. Who did you call? local office?

@Georgia16 I called but i did not get any new information, although looks like there is a minimum processing time and i have not passed that, so a little bit more waiting for me...
