I called again uscis today and was told my case is at NBC, not even at local office.

Just finished the Oath Ceremony this morning @ Montgomery, AL. 

 

Scheduled for 9:50 and the letter said you could go in no earlier than 30 mins before, so we arrived at 9:20. There were two guys out front and one motioned me into a parking lot and he collected all of my wife's old GCs/work authorization, as well as the form that came with the letter. He was super nice.

 

He then instructed us to pull around back and they would administer the oath in the car; so we got a drive-thru oath. Which was cool, because I was able to be there for it.

 

Pulled around back and there was a little tent that we drove up to. The guy there handed over a "packed of goodies" and had her sign the Naturalization Cert. He then administered the oath and said "Congratulations, and drive safe!". 

 

Took maybe 5 minutes total. This afternoon we'll apply for the passport and go from there!

 

ALSO, her estimated case completion is still on October 2020 [2 months] (and has been basically since we started) and estimated wait time is 3 months.

I see you have the same local office and filed a few days before us, I was hoping to see you get scheduled soon. I don't really see anyone being scheduled in Mount Laurel or NJ in general.That's really weird though, our case has been sitting in Mount Laurel since January.  What does your case status say on your account?

My immigration journey came to an end today. I had my interview and my oath in Fairfax, Virginia today. I am so exhausted but truly happy.

I have updated the spreadsheet to include the members who have filed in December 2019 and commented on our thread about their interviews and oath ceremonies but were not on the sheet before.

I have also updated those who shared their case progress.

My wife's journey ended yesterday after her combo Interview yesterday.  Her oath cermony was giving right after she did the interview. She was the last one of the day in Charleston, SC.  Good luck to everyone else.

I had my interview today and the lady said it was recommended for approval. So, she said I just need to wait for the oath ceremony letter. It lasted 30 mins. She was nice. I had to write:”Lincoln was the President during the civil war” and I had to read “Abraham Lincoln was the President”, then I got my 6 civics questions correct and reviewed my application. She didn’t ask for my spouse’s birth certificate, only my greencard, state ID and passport

Someone that filed in January at WPB already got an interview that was canceled and then got re-scheduled and attended it and completed it.

 

How is this possible when I filed in December and haven't even received my first interview? This doesn't seem right.

Might have to call them again.

Was this from a Facebook group? Did you call USCIS?

People who had their interview already. I know I have to bring some things to the interview, but did you bring the documents you already uploaded online as well?

Some people in Tampa that applied after me got their new interview date before me as well. Must be random lol

Movement, FINALLY! I got a notification that action had been taken on the case, and when I logged in, there was a message saying that an interview had been scheduled, but nothing yet in the documents tab to say when: how long does this usually take to show up?

 

231 days since submission. Months since there was an estimated timeline.

 

Now I'll start reading back to find out what we need to know for this: stuff to bring? What to expect? I haven't seen anyone else in this thread who's in Boston, but maybe there's someone in the wider N-400 group.

I took everything I submitted in application,. And updated documents for utilities/bank statement, take federal tax returns. As well as what you listed.

 

if you’re 18-26 years of age they want to see SSS registration too.

 

I say all this, but the IO did not ask for a single document.
