I do not know if I will get my information here at this site. My case is a little different. Any advice will do thanks. Where to begin....

My name is Adrianna. I am 29 years old and live in San Antonio Texas. My boyfriend lives in Wales around Pembrokeshire. We met about 3 years ago at a music site for a band we liked. We were friends then and responded in each other's threads. Eventually time passed and we grew closer. I left that music board when one fool tried to drive a wedge between us. Eventually my boyfriend followed me into another music board and we have been there since. We have met face to face and met each other's families. He met mine last october after saving up his money. We are not going to get married. We are taking this as slowly as we like. We have been talking about who will live with who. I asked him truthfully if he wants to live with me in the U.S. or if I should follow him to wales. I'm willing to follow my chap anywhere. Truthfully, he would like to stay in Wales and I also like wales too. I just have to get used to driving on the left side. We have been looking through sites about how to get me citizenship to the U.K. I know this will take awhile but we want to do this right and we have our connections while we are apart so I can be patient. I am thinking that immigrating to the United Kingdom is a little different than the USA so does anyone know what we should do? If you don't have the information, that's all right. We just want to be pointed in the right direction.

Hiya! My fiance and I met on a music message board, too! :) We also met for the first time last October!! (Start 'Twilight Zone' music...!)

This site is mostly for people emigrating to the US. I would try this site and see if it helps.

Best of luck to you!!

Welcome to VJ. This site is normally for immigration to the U.S. so am not sure how much information you will find about immigration to England. Good luck

Come, join us on UK Yankee!

You have several options or more depending on your situation, such as a work visa or an unmarried partner visa; a student visa or a BUNAC visa for a recent grad is also an option too.

I just moved to the UK with my husband after going through the hassle of US immigration and I have to tell you it's much easier to go to the UK than it is to come to the US!
