Emailing Montreal Consulate response not received

Hey guys,

wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this. In the past whenever I emailed the Montreal consulate Immigrant visa unit, I used to get an auto-response acknowledging the receipt of my message with the subject title "Thank you for your message to the Immigrant Visa (IV) unit", we will respond in a few weeks, etc. However the last two times I emailed the same email address as I used to before and received no auto-response or acknowledgement and haven't received a human response from them either. Anybody else experiencing this ? Has the email address for the immigrant visa unit changed ? Or is my email going to their spam folder (or their equivalent of it) somehow ?

No I just wanted to ask about the status of my ongoing administrative processing

I read somewhere that we should no longer directly email them at this address - montreal-iv-dv@state.gov. And instead we can only contact them using this public enquiry form - https://ca.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/public-inquiry-form/ . Is this correct ?

They've never answered emails to the IV.  It's always been using the inquiry form.  If you have a k1 then you email the NIV not the IV.
