Hello!

My fiance just had his interview yesterday at USEM Manila and his visa has been approved (YAY!!). Anyway, I just checked the status on ceac.state.gov and it says "application received." Is this normal? I thought it usually says "administrative processing." Thanks for all the help!

Thank you. It finally changed to administrative processing today. I think the Thanksgiving holiday delayed it a little bit.

What do you mean by case completed? Are you a K-1 visa applicant? I'm a K-1 visa applicant so my fiance and I scheduled the interview ourselves when our status on ceac.state.gov said ready. I can't really help you since your profile doesn't say anything about what kind of visa you applied for or what country.

Case complete mean NOTHING. Just ignore it. When it shows everything is still proceeding normally. Nothing here to see so let's move on.

You have posted on a K-1 board.  It is a different visa, and CC isn't a thing for it.   The OP is interviewing for a different visa in a different embassy to yours, so it isn't really relevant.

You should seek others who have gone through your particular embassy.
