Hello good people. I’ve been reading almost every post on this forum and i decide to create an account to share my expirience. I have applied for i751 with waiver since i got divorced with my wife because of the extreme cruelty. I had hospital records the day i was attacked and police reports and it wasn’t just one time multiple times. She was so jelaous of where im going what im doing, i couldn’t even go out with my friends she would say that im going to cheat which i never did. Long story short i applied for i751 on November 7 and the check was cashed on november 9, 2018. I sent my package to nebraska service center with all the evidence that we have our joint bills, bank accounts, pictures, insurances, apartment lease, vacations because i also applied for waiver with extreme cruelty i send threatning messages like screenshots, police report, hospital report etc. it’s been a year and one month now i’m checking the uscis app and still shows fingerprint fee was received. My question isn’t weird that they still haven’t called me for fingerprints and that there is no update for this long time? Will be a interview ? What do you guys think, every opinion is welcome . Thank you and i hope i have to be patient maybe, but this waiting time is so soo annoying.

forgot to mention divorce was finalized after we applied around april 15, 2019. My recepit number is LIN199007****

Honestly you seem to have a good case with the hospital Bill's and police report and l also think you have enough evidence to prove bonafide marriage so you should be fine. My wife abused me a little bit by packing and living the house empty with all my belongings when l got home from work. I then called the cops to inspect the house and gave me a police report on that. That police report helped my case at the interview because the officer asked me to give it to her which she made a copy for herself and gave me back the original. Though l could have filed for abuse but l felt l had enough evidence  to prove bonafide marriage which is more easier when you have enough evidence for that. But looking at your case l think you are will be ok just be patient because mine lasted for 14 months from start to finish. I also had Nebraska as my field office and the processing time is now 16 to 24 months. You will be fine.

I filed joint on August 27, 2018. Got separated on December 14, 2018. After the separation l update my case with a waiver on June 10, 2019. I received a notice for biometric on June 14.

On August 27, 2019 l got a rfe to summit a divorce decree which l did because my divorce was finalized on August 19, 2019. I got my interview on Nevember 21, 2019. I was asked a couple of questions from our joint filing documents, and was also asked questions like how we met, where we first met, where and where we got married, how many people were at the marriage ceremony, and issues that led to our separation. After l answered and told my story the officer told me she has all she need and does not need anything more from me so she is going to request for my approval.  I said thank you and left for home. That night l checked my status and seen that it has change to New Card is being Produced. Two days later it changed again to Case is approved and finally in another two days it changed to New Card has been Mailed. All l did was to read comments from this site and not only depend on my lawyer and this helped me right from l130 to l751 and am very grateful to Almighty for a successful process. I thank you guys and l wish all pending cases best of luck. Thanks.

CONGRATULATIONS !!

This is my experience:

I had my I751waiver interview 3 months ago and did not get any answer yet. My interview was in Orlando.

The IO was very polite, I sent a big package to them when I filed for the I751 jointly and I added more to the file during the interview.

She basically asked me what was going on (why thge relationship was over) and listened to my story, she was looking the documents all the time and she informed that the reason why I had an interview was lack of documentation and because I forgot to sign a document that they sent me (I sent a letter informing that my relationship did not work out and I was divorced while the joint I751 was pending, then they send me a document where I needed to accept the modification into a waiver process). In regards to the documents I sent a big package full of documents (car insurance, bank statements, life insurance, credit cards, pictures, work documents that showed both names, personal loan, flight tickets and many other docs).

After 25 minutes interview the answer was  "I need to review your case and I will mail you the decision". My attorney asked for a time frame and she said that she couldn't give it since they were very busy. My attorney also said that everything went well and hopefully I will hear from them soon, however 3 months already passed and no answer.

On top of that I have a work trip planned for January and I don't know what to do.
