Sorry theres a lot of things not free in this country. An EAD is an employment authorization document. He can work as long as it is valid. It is not a risk as the company does not have to sponsor him.

This is wrong. EAD=work authorization=permit. And there is no risk for the company in hiring the OP. 

 

 

Removing Conditions Timeline

Aug. 10, '17: Mailed in I-751

Aug. 21, '17: NOA1

October 23, '18: NOA2- approval

October 30, 18: 10-year GC received

OP can waste his time by trying to fight a battle. for what its worth, its a waste of time. there are a tonn of tech companies in silicon valley who can hire a techie. move on
