hello, I'm under AP of a k1 visa (k2), our visa interview was in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil... we've been in this AP for almost 2 months and 2 days. We were asked for relationship evidence that was emailed, and also some that my mother (the bride) sent two weeks ago by post office.... yesterday on the ceac website when I went to see the status of our visa, and it was written: "inscription receivd"... my question is what does that mean??? is it a good thing? is it something bad? has anyone been through this? if I can answer, I appreciate. Tks today (11/26/2019) checked my status and there said it was in AP again .... why is that? What's that supposed to mean?

thank you ;)

AP is standard wording that your case is being adjudicated.  Its a good thing that it keeps changing which means someone is touching your record.

Millions have experience AP. More patience  and it will turn to issue.

Ok,  got it!! Thank you!

But could you also tell me what "inscription received" means? ..... And you happen to know why they went from "immigrant" to "nonimmigrant" ?... is that good or bad? I am grateful for the attention :)

Haven't heard the phrase before.  Maybe someone else will chime in.

It turns to non-immigrant just before issue as K1 is considered a non-immigrant visa with immigrant intentions.

Não ouvi a frase antes. Talvez outra pessoa entre na conversa.

Acontece que não é imigrante logo antes da emissão, pois o K1 é considerado um visto de não-imigrante com intenções de imigrantes.

My visa has been aproved! Thanks for your help!
