Status change twice after Administrative Processing?

Hi all,

 

Today, we received word that our case was ready. It says that on the ready screenshot about an interview, even though we already had an interview on the 15th of this month. A few hours later, the status changed to Application Received for some reason. What does this mean? I am very confused about this...

The second image asked you to check again in two business days if you already had your interview.

I think by then you'll experience another status change.

They received the documents you sent and are working on your case.

If you look closely, you can see that the first status was under 'immigrant visa application' and the second was under 'non-immigrant visa application'.

 

K-1s are non-immigrant visas, but are mostly handled by the immigrant visa unit at embassies/consulates, so once the immigrant visa unit is done with your case, it's handed off to the non-immigrant unit for final processing and actually producing your visa. Usually it's pretty quick from there to 'issued', but sometime it can take a while; Anastasia's sat at non-immigrant "Application Received" for almost two weeks in Moscow back in February for no particular reason we know of (this was the only part of the process that was unusually slow for the time for us, and it still wasn't all that long).

Transferred to NI department to issue.  Next status change is ISSUED.

We are at issued stage now, interview 11/21/19

it's normal for status to change multiple times after interview. you might also see Administrative processing for few hours or days. just be patient while the embassy finalizes the paperwork before issuing the visa.

Ours went through this and then back to AP, then went to issued this morning. The process was about 10 days with all the status changes.

Congratulations to you! We haven’t heard anything yet and probably expecting it sometime next week or so since this week was a holiday week.
