Nope, point im making is, in case she has TB, she can be treated before the interview so she wont be delayed for 6 months. I have a friend who did that.

Point I am making is IF a person receives treatment outside of SLEC .. there is a ONE YEAR DELAY!!   If you do this, do it far enough in advance to address this.

SLEC does not accept outside diagnoses or cures!

apellica she went to a local clinic in Montalban which is just outside metro Manila.  Cost was very reasonable and the documentation response very quick.  I have some peace of mind knowing that she passed the sputum even those the results are not official.  I booked my ticket for the interview based on that.   This is a difficult process and I am disappointed that some of the so called experts don't have a better understanding of what couples are going through.  Best of luck to you.

We all know what you are going through because we have been through it. A test done outside of St. Luke's will not be considered by them. Also, just because she had a clear result at another clinic doesn't mean she won't have a problem at St. Luke's. Not trying to be an alarmist but it is what it is...
