Residency question

We are about to send our application for AOS, and we currently live in NY. However, we are planning on moving to another state in few months, for lifestyle reasons. The wife is working here in NY, while I will be waiting for a Working Permit. We would like to send our application, and making the new state our home (already have address there) before we finally move there. We believe that changing address while the application is processing might cause further delay....Could this situation cause problem?

Changing your address won't cause a delay. Just update the address to USCIS on their website when the move is finalized. I wouldn't recommend making the new address the mailing address on your case so far ahead before moving, or else how will you receive your mail on your case?

If you are adjusting status (sounds like you are) then I would use the new address from the start, as long as somebody is there to get your mail.  Changing addresses in the middle of an adjustment of status case is something to be avoided at nearly any cost.  USCIS is terrible about address changes during adjustment of status and the results can be a denial.

Note that if you use the new address, your biometrics appointment will be at an office near that address.  Better to make a trip for than than to try to change addresses in the middle, in my opinion.

Yes that much I gathered, but what visa or how did he enter the US? We have different sections for K1/K3 and Work, Student and Tourist visa.
