The GOP is essentially doing the Russians’ work for them

WASHINGTON — Republican lawmakers took to the airwaves Sunday to defend their leader, President Trump, after a week of compelling and at times damning testimony in the House’s ongoing impeachment inquiry.

The most absurd and delusional of these appearances came on Fox News anchor Chris Wallace’s show. Wallace had invited on Republican Senator John Neely Kennedy (R-La.). At one point in the interview, Wallace showed an excerpt of former National Security Council staffer and impeachment witness Fiona Hill’s testimony this week when she chided members of the Intelligence Committee for promoting a “fictional narrative” that Ukraine — not Russia — interfered in the 2016 U.S. elections. Then Wallace played a clip of President Trump on “Fox & Friends” parroting that debunked same conspiracy theory — namely, that Ukraine hacked the Democratic National Committee in 2016, not Russia.

Wallace then turned to his guest.

“Senator Kennedy,” Wallace asked, “who do you believe was responsible for hacking the DNC and Clinton campaign computers, their emails — was it Russia or Ukraine?”

“I don’t know,” Kennedy responded. “Nor do you. Nor do any of us.”

Is there a link?  I do love the headline, now the Leftist media is circling back to President Trump being a dictator like the DPRK's "Dear Leader".    Another swing and a miss.  Anyway, I guess Schiff says he needs to consult with his constituents before proceeding, maybe they should just do what President Trump suggests, get on with a predetermined vote and send this over to the Senate where Schiff and Nancy cannot control the proceedings.  Based on Schiff's other musings, Trump's actions are much worse than anything Nixon did.  Well Nixon would have been impeached and likely removed, so as Nike says, Just Do It!

Ah, not just Trump is a dictator, but another rehash of the Russian narrative.  Not surprising coming from the Rolling Stone.

What is wrong with Rolling Stone? I have seen some excellent journalism from them.

Every reputable news organization has had issues , gotten it wrong , or even had scandals.  Do you think there is a university, branch of the military, large government agency or large church that has not have to examine their systems and culture after a scandal? Do you want your military to stop defending you just because they had to deal with the famous hazing and sexual abuse scandals?

It's just common sense. You need the press as an institution.

This one though was epic.  I believe you have posted many stories denigrating John Solomon even though he is right more than he is wrong, and he continues to provide all his reference material he uncovers.  The fact that the Rolling Stone is printing an editorial that is not clearly labeled, recycling tired narratives and including another narrative in the headline in a story that really doesn’t say anything new shouldn’t garner much respect.  Of course they want to try and get people to think that the GOP is simply defending Trump at all cost so we will ignore that the Dems had a really bad week last week in their public hearings.  As I have said many times, impeach Trump, take the vote, it will most likely be more bi-partisan against as all Schiff showed us was a lot of opinion and assumptions.

I don't think anything John Solomon in the last two years has held up with any proof.

Is Rolling Stone not available in Sweden?

Yeah, have to agree that Solomon is a hack. It says a lot when you get forced from news reporting to opinion pieces only because your journalistic standards suck that much.

Yes we have the internet. It's a remarkably civilised country, we even have healthcare for all residents.

If you look back he had a remarkable career. It is sad. I don't know what is driving him to traffic in conspiracy theory.

For the display ad update, I am getting Walgreens ads in Spanish. I have no idea why.
