I-134 question

Hello.

I wanted some advice about the supporting documents for the I-134 form.

Currently, I’m unemployed and out of the US, so I’ll be using a cosponsor. I just wanted to confirm if these supporting documents for both of our I-134 forms were sufficient.

1. My 1-134

- Copies of my three tax return transcripts for the last three years (2016-2018, all foreign earned income)

*I don’t have any significant amount of money in any of US bank accounts, so should I even bother printing out statements? My savings is currently locked in my foreign account, which I can only take out once I leave South Korea later on (after my fiance’s embassy interview).

2. Cosponsor’s I-134

- Copies of 2018 tax return and transcript

- Copies of 2018 W-2

- Paystubs for the last three to six months of 2019

*My cosponsor started his job in June 2017, so I was just planning on including his 2018 return, as that’s when he worked a full year.

**Also, does his I-134 have to have a wet signature?

I spoke to an immigration lawyer (paid around 100 USD for a consultation) here in Seoul, and he said those above documents should be fine. But as you know, I’d like to see what everyone here on VJ think.

Thank you all in advance!

I would take one with a wet signature, yes.

Dont forget you will also need all of this again for the 864 for the AOS phase if you are not working (how will you support your fiancee?) and earning enough.

Ah, yes. I plan on including a copy of the cosponsor’s US passport for proof of citizenship. As far as the AOS stage goes, I will be going ahead of my fiance to the US and secure a job before she lands, so I won’t have to use my cosponsor for the I-864.
