Arriving at the POE

I know I'm getting ahead of myself a little considering our interview hasn't even been scheduled but I had a question that I haven't seen asked. I am planning on going to the philippines and flying back with my fiance and our infant daughter so that they don't need to make that long trip alone. When we arrive at the Port of Entry, obviously my fiance will have to go to the non-US citizen immigration line but which line should I go through? Should we stay together or should I take the baby (who is also a US citizen) and go through the US citizen line?

She can go through the US line with you. I went through the US line with my then fiance.

Then again, it might also depend on what POE you use. Just ask the immigration/customs staff as you are getting ready to go through the lines. They are generally nice and pleasant enough to allow you to go through the line together and not separate you.
