Hi,

Very quick question about the status of an I-140 on the USCIS website.

When I check the receipt number my status reads

I have the I-797 for this receipt number which lists approval notice and my PD. It has been in status for over a year. Should it read "Approved" and would this cause an issue if the USCIS view the same records?

Tks

You mean your I-140 is approved and it still lists a " received" on USCIS's website? What a shocker! Not really, the website is notorious for having bugs and non-updates. It's fine. I have cases pending for more than a decade in my profile. As long as you have the paper notice, that's proof of approval.

USCIS adjudicators do not go to the same website to check for approval status if that what you're asking (Thank God, imagine how that would go)

Thanks for the reply and thank god USCIS adjudicators if that is the case. That would be more of a circus that it seems to be now!
