How silly. It's not like she was pouring body oil over her naked heaving bosoms and moaning in front of her kids. She was hanging drywall!

You did that on purpose

I say again... meh.  As long as there is no sexual abuse going on, nudity is nothing to be ashamed of.

This. My wife and I both don't mind being nude around our children, we don't teach our children to freak out at anyone else either in the house if they're seen naked as its just their body. Our oldest participates in changing our youngest, which means she sees him naked. We don't go around naked deliberately, but my wife openly breast feeds in the house (she's even brave enough to openly breast feed in public, in both the US and Canada), we often talk to our kids while the bathroom door is open and going to the bathroom, or even call them into the bathroom while we're showering (or if wife is in the bath) if they need to do something. We make sure to destigmatize the body, if parents don't teach their kids about this and a body is nothing to be ashamed of, they'll only get their education from other people, or the TV, which is the worst kind of education.

Honestly, drywall or not, who cares, if she wants to have her own shirt off in her own house, the government and prudes alike can take a hike.

I have never done that on purpose or by accident in front of my fiancé's daughter! I wore tasteful long-sleeved pajamas when we stayed with her.

I am talking about the oiled ####### rubdown narrative

Well, I was just trying to come up with an outlandish scenario that would definitely call for intervention. I'm not responsible for what goes through your head.

I was expecting a discussion on horribly expensive oils.

Ditto.  Both our kids (one of each of the two actual genders) took baths and showers with each one both of us for several years.  We didn't lounge around naked as a family or anything, but if it was appropriate to be sans clothing, we didn't hide it from our kids.

I did get a visit from social services once because my daughter had told her school counselor that I had spanked her with a belt.  A lady showed up at my house and asked to speak to my wife and I alone.  Asked if I had spanked my daughter with a belt.  I said yes.  When she asked why, I told her my daughter had shoplifted (with an older, troubled teen who was trying to date my son at the time).  She tried to tell me it was inappropriate to spank a child, especially a teen girl.

She then asked to talk to my daughter,  which we did together.  Other than encourage her to answer the lady's questions (she is kinda shy), I kept my mouth shut.  Then she asked to inspect my daughter's bare bottom.  I told her it was up to daughter and my wife (step mom).

Thankfully, any bruising that may have been was gone, and all was well.  At the end, the worker asked if I planned to spank my daughter in the future.  I said I hoped not, that I think my daughter had learned her lesson the first time,  which was the very purpose of such punishment.   She also tried to badger my spouse into admitting that she had "allowed the abuse".  LOL, noce try.  My wife said that she thought the punishment fit the crime, and that had she done such as a kid, that her dad would have done the same thing to her, except he would have used the buckle end of the belt.

After she said she was gonna file her report, but that no abuse was noted, I asked her if she had kids.  She said no, but she had a masters in... something about kids.  I told her that perhaps she should consider obtaining some actual experience in raising her own kids before she tried to tell actual parents how to raise theirs.  She was nice enough, but... naive.

I'm quite sure I have hung drywall topless at some time.  It gets hot and humid here.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/topless-women-win-big-colorado-city-drops-ban-n1056701

With no guarantee of success in the Supreme Court, the city council concluded "that the money was just better spent on other city priorities," said Tyler Marr, a Fort Collins government spokesman. The decision not to fight the ban effectively makes it legal for women to go topless in the six states that fall under the 10th Circuit: Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma

Seems like it is legal in Utah.

I don't think NB is going to sleep tonight until that part is cleared up.

Do you know me perhaps?
