Hi Sarge, Nope, no social security number yet.. yeah, that’s kind of what I thought - that I need to use the name on the I-94 for initial request..

But if you wait until EAD you can use the married  name. Some offices allowed folks to use married  name after marriage. My office would not let me. We applied before  marriage got the card in the maiden name, then after marriage went back to SSA to try and change to the married name,  they would not do it until EAD or GC since my wife had no ID  in her married name.  It's a big cluster..... you know what!

I just called my local SSA office and no luck on the first try ( staff don’t know what he was doing and hung up on me 😂😂😂) and I tried again, this time I spoke to a more knowledgeable staff.. he told me that I can use my married name if that’s what I prefer. Wish me favors and luck on my appointment tomorrow please! Thanks as always 😊

This update doesn't mean interview was scheduled, just that paperwork is good to move to the field office.

This is not my case, however, it’s from a person that had their Interview cancelled due to COVID-19 and now rescheduled. I think it’s fantastic news and it’s only a matter of time before everyone get their interviews rescheduled. Hang in there you’ve been one of my fav members and I don’t want you to lose hope 🤗🤗🤗

But it's not rescheduled when all they got was this status.

Yes the case can be ready for months and months after the ready status!

Why would you post someone else's  status, then say they are rescheduling? That makes no sense! That status you posted simply means what it said they are READY to schedule. This status can remain ready for many months still. Please slow down and offer better narratives.

Has anyone received any interview schedule yet? Or those whose interviews have been cancelled, have you heard anything about rescheduling? The wait feels like it has been forever. I pray we all hear something soon. 😥

Ours was supposed to be March 19th. Of course it was cancelled and on that day changed back to "ready to be scheduled for interview". There's been nothing since.

Nope, ours has been in the “ready to schedule” since late March.
