Yes you are so so lucky! Sorry, not sure why I thought you had expedited. Must have mistaken you with someone else. Congrats, again!

No worries! It's good to clarify these things as it gives another bit of data to add to what we've all been looking at.

Still keeping my hopes up for all you folks getting good news this month :)

First of all, congratulations! This is wonderful news.

Wisconsin, huh? I wish the rest of the Midwest was that quick. My interview in Iowa was scheduled on April 23 and canceled due to Covid.

And you just made my day, seriously. I was losing hope here.

Thanks! And yep, my interview was meant to be April 15th but was cancelled before I got the magical approval notice - seems like a lot (but apparently not all?) AOS approvals came for people with cancelled interviews. So, there is definitely still hope for you guys!

(My timeline has my various dates - I was mostly posting in the Jan 2020 filers thread because my NOA was in Jan though we mailed the application right before Xmas so we're kind of straddling a Dec/Jan filing)

Without any trouble, call backs and extra paperwork about 90-120 days. That's what my bank told me. Had to sign a special form that allowed them to check my dates with SSA. Had the same problem with my credit card though they were fine with a picture of my card.

So basically while we wait on that, all we can do is work i'm assuming? Because I would love to move on to the next step like building credit and such.

Oh you can go on and do that. The number is there. Just expect it to be a little bit more annoying because the number is too new 😊

The SSN is immediate once its assigned to you. It's getting it into the system that takes a few days. It does not take long at all. In fact it's almost immediate too. My wife was recognized the day after her card arrived. So by the time your card arrives in the mail you should be good to go.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

Oh ok, Probably its because I got mine on the weekend. Probably tomorrow or within the week I may be able to see something because alot of places are still unable to verify my identity using the SSN.
