I personally do not think this will affect us K-1 people. I honestly feel as though he is just trying to curb those who are coming here strictly to work. Just my interpretation though.

I hope I am right too. I feel like I’ve had every possible hurdle thrown at me. Haha. My optimism seems to be in check today (thank goodness). Seriously though, we are on the right side of the whole immigration process, even if this does come down. Fingers crossed for us all.

we have to wait and see what and if the Executive Order entails.  It could be new cases, it could be halt on existing visas, aos etc, we just dont know yet.  But yes, it is stressing me out

It's  largely a political move as the country if you look at it is closed to immigration now! But you are right we have to wait and see.

I think those of us waiting on AOS at worst will have our cases suspended and result in more delays. I think the measures will be more to do with stopping further people coming in.

I’m with you on that. I would be waaaaaay more concerned if I was waiting on approval at the I-29f point or interview at embassy point. I’m pretty confident for all of us waiting on AOS

Found this. Again, we won’t know until we see the EO with our own eyes. Hope this offers relief for some of us, even if it’s just temp relief until we get the official word

Has anyone heard of interviews starting to be rescheduled yet ?

Not yet and I would guess we won't hear anything before end of next week. Crossing my fingers that they'll start sending letters out soon instead of extending the closure.

now that the EO is out, we can back to our regularly scheduled program.  :)  Because 2020 and this process isnt stressful enough (gasp)

Was anyone able to receive a SSN before approval of EAD/AP/AOS

If so, tell me about it. Currently trying to prove a point to someone here and I have no basis haha
