Hello everyone. 

 

I just got an update that they cancelled my interview today. 

My status was updated from "ready to be scheduled" to "scheduled" on March 10 and I have not even received the initial notification yet! 

 

Anyone knows what this means?

Just got an update - Lawfully app works really fast. 

 

My case is back to "ready to be scheduled for an interview". 

 

I imagine this might happen to a lot of cases now because of the virus outbreak.

I would advise that if you should get the letter with the interview date, show up just in case unless definitely told otherwise. Interview is sometimes scheduled a month before the interview so being that you know it is scheduled, just do what you can on your part and get everything ready for the interview.

I just checked Informed Delivery and I see I have a letter coming. I am assuming it is the notice everybody is getting that fingerprints have been applied to the I-131, because i didn't get any other notification about any notice or letter.

My husbands interview is this Thursday and we haven't heard anything yet about it being cancelled. USCIS case tracker hasn't changed either. Keeping my fingers crossed..

what is informed delivery?  I haven't received anything since bio metrics appointment in paper.  I was assuming the next paper will be our interview date and time

Informed Delivery is a service USPS has where you can see what mails and packages are coming to you that day. It helps me calm down lol because i can know whats coming. So for example, I know that a letter is coming today because of it.

I will see what comes in the mail. 

I do not have a date yet, because I have not received the notice with the date yet. They will send the cancellation mail, too.

And now the Case tracker app and the Lawfully app are both showing "Ready to be scheduled" again. 

I think they are going to cancel a lot of interviews now. I have heard from other people that theirs were cancelled too. 

They might order a mandatory quarantine like they did in Europe.

I am so used to waiting and everything taking forever here that I am just quietly checking my mailbox everyday without much hope

 

It took me 3 months to get SSN here. 

 

I am in no rush to get anything anymore

I know the feeling but I had to sign up for Informed Delivery because I don't receive email notifications from USCIS no matter how much I set email notifications. Only texts have been working as far as my experience goes.

 

I would love for them to process my EAD now being that they received my RFE and my EAD Expedite was approved...

Sure! Glad I could help... I recommend it to everybody that checks their mailbox everyday because I used to be that person lol.
