Thank you. I received the EAD update this morning.

Mine was the same for EAD (Case was Updated to Show Fingerprints were Taken) until I got an update saying New Card is being produced. For AP - Mine also says "Case was received" . I am not sure if I will get just the EAD or the combo card.

You will get combo card.

The status of my EAD was showing 'New card is being produced' but AP showed as 'Case was received'. Now a couple of days after the EAD card status, both AP and EAD have changed to 'Case is approved' :)

Just wanted to mention. We mailed the application overnight on December 18th so it was received on early on the19th.  I am thinking your status should update next week if you mailed it regular mail or priority mail.

That happened to me. The I-485 updated saying it's ready for interview then later the EAD changed status to 'New card is being produced'.

So hopefully you should receive an update!

Just wondering if anyone has experience with expediting their AP/EAD

I had my biometrics appointment February 7th, called on February 10th to expedite AP and EAD, received an email from USCIS requesting evidence on the 13th and responded the same day. At this stage I still haven’t heard anything from them and I’m not sure when I should be expecting a response or how they’ll contact me. Any advice would be appreciated :)

Everyone needs to realize these timelines aren’t the same as k1 and none of us will be on the same timelines. This is all down fo local field office traffic
