We did Biometrics on 1/14 and no update yet.  I figure they will do it whenever they want.

I did my Biometrics on 1/9 and also no update yet.  My notice had a Code 5 and they took fingerprints of two of my right fingers (I guess since I was already in the system)  Don't know if that has any bearing on the reason for the slow update...

Received biometrics appointment letter today, theyre not taking walk ins as policy at my local office so will have to wait for the scheduled date 1/28. It seems I have on of the slowest local field offices, so could be a long wait to complete the process, but thats ok.

Go early.  We did a walk-in and they thanked us for coming early.  The place was empty.  Just go after 1pm

Oh, good for you!! My appointment is at 11am, so we're just gonna do it at that time. Not really worried about it. I heard it takes 10-15min.

Does anyone know how to check which offices take walk-ins for biometrics? Do I need to call them and ask?

The best thing to do is go there between 1pm and 5pm and see what they say.   They allow if the place isn’t very busy.  Keep in mind, you need to bring the biometric letter with you.

After a bit of a wait I've finally received my receipt numbers for my AOS, AP & EAD. HUGE relief, I was panicking thinking it'd been lost in the mail. You'd think having made it this far through this process I'd have learned by now to be a little more patient 😂

Went to biometrics today. Took 15 mins. I had to call USCIS, because on the form they spelled my name wrong. I asked them how the processing times are going and they told me for the work permits they are working on cases from June, so the chance of me getting my green card first is very big. So, I guess we just have to wait now. 😁
