They FINALLY ran our card this evening. I’ve never been so happy to have money taken from my account. 🙌🏻

Naw, they were not bleak at all, just took a bit.

That's great news! I wonder why it took so long, but at least the wheels are in motion now!

Off topic guys, my apologies..

 

we just received a letter from Blue cross Blue Shield that they need my SSN or ITIN to be added to my husband’s health insurance..

 

* we tried to apply for my SSN about 17 days before my I-94 expiration ( I know, I know, I’ve beaten myself for that 😞😞😞) but was put on manual check, haven’t heard from them yet ( of course if we do hear from them, it would be to learn that “ We cannot issue a SSN as of this time ) so this route is a dead end

 

* currently waiting for my biometrics appointment ( tomorrow in fact, in Oklahoma City )

 

* I’ve tried to research on our best course of action, seems like my only option is to apply for an ITIN ( which means my husband needs to file for his taxes ASAP ) for two purposes: to have an ITIN to be presented to the health insurance and for my husband to file as married filing jointly ..

 

Any inputs ? Thank you guys 😊🌞

Hi! I had my biometrics done yesterday and I was just wondering if i should expect a change in my case status? I know someone who had to redo her biometrics so I’m kinda getting anxious if mine was okay... The wait is really a killer hahaha. A very good experience that teaches us patience.

My wife got 3 cellphone texts today that all 3 packets was received.  I went on USCIS to add the case receipt numbers and also seen that the biometrics fee was accepted, so now we wait for her biometrics notification.  I mailed the packets via Fedex on 28 December and they received it on 30 December.

AOS Timeline (I-485, I-765, I-131)

 

12/28/2019:  Packages sent to USCIS via Fedex

12/30/2019:  USCIS received packages

1/08/2020:  NOA for all 3 applications

1/17/2020:  Received biometrics appt letter for the I-485 and I-765 (Code 3). 

1/31/2020:  Biometrics completed

2/20/2020:  RFE

6/15/2020:  Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview

6/15/2020:  I-765 (New Card is Being Produced)

6/30/2020:  Received Combo Card in the Mail

4/22/2021:  AOS Interview

4/26/2021:  AOS Approval

4/29/2021:  Permanent Resident Card received in the mail

Good deal, looks like we may be in for a long wait as the Dallas local office is very slow and or backed up!!!!!!

Sure. This the email address for lockbox support. lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov

You need to include the form number, petitioner and/or applicant name, and mailing address in the email.
