Hi,

Me and my spouse have started the I-130 process, however it's asked to bona fide our marriage with evidence such as financial statements (joint loans, credit cards, mortgages etc) as I am from the United Kingdom and my spouse is from the United States, we wasn't able to have joint loans from each other countries etc. We have been together 6 years with multiple flights, trips, other evidence to show we have a real relationship. Is there anything we can do to increase our chances to be accepted or will 6 years of evidence of being in a real and serious relationship be enough? I understand you can't say or predict what is enough etc, but other than supporting each other with money via Paypal we have never had a joint account together and I fear if we make a joint saving's account now they'll think it's because we need more evidence.

Thank you for your help.

My husband and I also don't have joint finances, bank account, lease, anything like that. We sent boarding passes from every trip we took to each other, passport stamps from visiting each other, 3-4 pictures from each trip (by ourselves and with family/friends), receipts/tickets from things we have done together that have our names on them (Disney, theatre plays, etc), hotel receipts from vacations we have taken, and a few wedding pictures/receipts and our petition was approved with no RFEs. USCIS understands that couples who have never lived together most likely won't have joint finances and assets like couples who have lived together would, so the most important thing to focus on is evidence of time spent together. Coming from a low fraud country like the UK, it especially should be no issue. Just load up with evidence of face to face time together and you should be fine
