F1 to AoS, Can my fingerprints be reused?

When I applied for my F1 visa at my home country in October 2018 they already took my fingerprints on the day I had the interview with the Consular officer. USCIS website says fingerprints are valid for 15 months. I just got married and my application was sent on October 30 this year. Yesterday I just got all 4 receipts for my application. I'm waiting on the biometric appointment letter.

Will I still have to go in for fingerprints again in this case? How can I find out?

I checked the status of my 4 forms on USCIS website and they have not mentioned anything yet regarding the biometric appointment apart from they only have received my fingerprint fee. I've heard for some people who didn't have to take fingerprints again, the fee will not be refunded so there is no way to tell yet.

I dread to know when my appointment if I have to redo it because I will be out of town for the whole Winter break, is there any way I can find out ahead of time? I called USCIS but they were not able to answer me.

Thanks again for all who comment.
