Need help. IR5 mumbai

My parents have their IR5 interview at mumbai. They will be flying from northern part of india. I was wondering, when is it safe for me to book their return flight? Is same day fine ? Pls suggest 

2) which are the 2-3 hotels closer to the consulate?

3) How much is the medical examination fee at delhi or mohali max ? They mentioned 19k but on Ustraveldocs website it says something else

Depends, are they picking up passport or having it delivered. 

My advice, book a flex ticket that will allow you to change flights on will at no charge. Its still cheaper than booking last minute tickets.

Lookup on google maps and decide what is within your budget. 

 

Personally I would get the Trident or Sofitel which is right across the street from the embassy. Take the traffic out of the equation.

I choose to have it delivered but want to double check with you if I did it right. I choose the delivery option at the UStravel docs website just before the appointment date options. Is that correct?

It's for one person. Embassy website claims some 9k which isnt even close

yeah should be fine as long as they get a verbal approval of visa.

I'm not at that stage so cannot confirm with confidence, but yes, whatever was chosen on the traveldocs/ceac will be applicable.

You can book return on the same day. 

if you choose to pick up your passport by yourself instead of delivering to your address after the interview. It is usually ready for pick up on the next day.

Thanks. I booked the return flight 8 hours after the interview appointment time. Would that be okay? How much time it took urs ?
