Help! Adoption process for child now holding GC

Hello everyone!  Happy humps day!  

My husband (US citizen) and I  are planning start the adoption process for my biological son.  The problem is we don know where and how to start😂

 

I need advise /input on  adoption process for my son (14 y/o turning 15 y/o in  December).  Both of us came here on K1 and K2 visa,  we are now holding GC valid for 2 yrs. 

My son is using my maiden name,  no acknowledgement of biological father on his brith certificate.

Do we need to initiate the adoption process here in the US (since he is already living here) or in PH?

 

Will greatly appreciate if someone could give me advise on the process..we are in living in Indianapolis, IN.

Sounds like a question for an attorney skilled in adoptions.  Not really an immigration question until the outcome of the adoption is final.

Visa Received : 2014-04-04 (K1 - see timeline for details)

US Entry : 2014-09-12

Marriage : 2014-09-27

I-765 Approved: 2015-01-09

I-485 Interview: 2015-03-11

Green Card Received: 2015-03-24 Yeah!!!

I-751 Biometrics Appt.:  2017-01-26

I-751 Interview:  2018-04-10

I-751 Approved:  2018-05-04

N400 Filed:  2018-01-13

N400 Biometrics:  2018-02-22

N400 Interview:  2018-04-10

N400 Approved:  2018-04-10

Oath Ceremony:  2018-06-11 - DONE!!!!!!!
