Wait time to get passport back after interview in Montreal

Hello,

I had my K1 visa interview in Montreal on November 6th at 8am. I was approved and excited to have received the "pink paper".  I was told at the interview that it could be a wait time of 2 weeks before receiving my passport back, but it will be two weeks as of tomorrow, there is still no update and when I log on to check my visa status it is still in administrative processing.  I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or is currently experiencing this and had their interview in and around the same time? There is one other person that I know who had her interview the same day and hers has been shipped.  I am just getting a little bit worried as my fiancé and I have a timeline we are trying to work toward to have me back to the USA.

I appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Hey !!

My interview was the same day as you except at 8:30..
I am in the same situation as you are! As of November 13th its been in administrative processing, i was also told i was approved and given the pink paper which says we should get it in 2 weeks but i still didnt receive it :( We had to cancel our honeymoon which is suppose to be next week because we don't think we will make it in time.

I gave all documents they asked for, although they did not ask to see proof when i offered. Hopefully we get ours soon!

So frustrating! they barely give any information.  We had planned to have me fly back to the US Dec 1 but that likely won't happen now. We also went and started to plan our US wedding for Jan 11, but now I'm getting nervous that the timeline won't work!

I really do hope we get some sort of update soon!

Best wishes xox
