Vaccination and TB

Hi all

I had my TD/TDAP vaccination 10 years ago so I'm due for a booster. I called GP and they said they normally do not give Tetanus vaccination unless you are traveling abroad soon. They may be able to give me one for visa purposes if I provide the proper paperwork. What kind of paperwork I should be providing to indicate my need?

Also it says while attending the medical test, the applicant needs to bring all medical and specialist reports relating to the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis (TB). What do we need to provide with this requirement?

Many thanks for your help!

The immunization chart from CDC https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/pdf/Vaccine-Requirements-According-to-Applicant-Age.pdf

Treatment for TB- a report written by the doctor who treated you for TB relating to the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis...Dates, medications, diagnostic lab reports.

Thanks a lot! Does the TB diagnostic test part of the medical examination or I need to bring reports on my own before the medical test? Assuming a separate appointment with GP for the blood test?

I don't understand your question. You will have a chest x-ray at the visa clinic. Everybody does as the screening for TB.  If you have been diagnosed and treated for TB before in your life, then you are directed to bring information about your TB case (from a medical doctor) to the visa medical exam. They need something more than your telling "I had TB a few years ago and took some medicine." They want specific dates and medical terms from your GP or specialist.

OP: Have you had TB? If yes, then you need to bring documentation of everything. If you haven't, then it's not something to be concerned about.
