Hi

I mistakenly left out a question on the i-864 about how many people are in the household,  they sent me an RFE for it,  but the 1st page is telling me that I don't meet the requirements for a sponsor and if I decide to get a joint sponsor and what to send, but I make over 125% of the poverty limit, is this like that for everyone on the first page if their I-864 Affidavit of Support is answered incorrectly?  On the bottom of the second page it then says

Then on the 2nd page it tells me .

Your I-864 has one more more deficiencies, in order for us to process your application you must:

Submit a completed and signed Form I-846 from the petitioning sponsor all pages must be present

Provide the Social Security on Form I-864

Provide completed calculated household size for the petitioning sponsor

Provide  copy of petitioning sponsors Fed income tax, including Tax returns for the most recent tax year.

The second page tells me what to send in,  and says nothing about getting a joint sponsor or my requirements are not good enough.

The 1st page says something and the 2nd page tells me to send something totally different.

Do I send the yellow RFE or can I send a copy of it and keep the original?

And what do I write on the envelope with RFE response ?

Thanks for the answers and help

When you dont fill out the I864 right you automatically dont qualify to be a sponsor.

Fill it out properly and provide the financial documents as asked.

It sounds like you didnt submit proof of taxes filed even so how would they know you were a viable sponsor? Ie. Of course they are going to say youre not because you havent proven it.

Just as a thought since I didn't fill in how many people I have in the household, I automatically did not quality as a sponsor since they didn't know how many people live in the house.

I sent them, 3 years worth of W2's and 1040's they requested and letter from employer etc. etc.

This time I added bank statement, Transcripts direct from the IRS, and tons of pay statements.

and my social security number was on the form also.

Only most recent Tax Form is required however they are extremely specific on what they accept.

The W2 and the 1040 alone are not a complete tax return without all pages and schedules. The Tax Return Transcript is.

Employment Verification Letter is required if you used current predicted income. Did you?

What does your SSN have to do with it?

Ie. Im confused about what you are claiming....

Have you read the I864 instructions?
