I-551 temporary stamp

I am going to apply for n-400 in next couple of days but I was thinking that my 18 month Green card extension letter would expire by the time USCIS finish processing my both petitions I-751(already pending since 12 months)and n-400 as my local uscis office takes 14-18 months for n-400 processing so it means I will have to get ordinary stamp on my passport so my question is that how many weeks or months before the expiry of my green card extension letter I should contact uscis to get stamp on my passport my second question does uscis mail us appointment letter  for getting stamp on our passport or do they send appointment notice via email?

About 30 days prior to the expiration of the extension letter unless you have travel plans needing it sooner.

For the I551 stamp?  No, you have to make that appointment yourself.

I KNOW BUT WE CAN MAKE APPOINTMENT BY GIVING THEM CALL IS THAT RIGHT AND ONCE THEY BOOK APPOINTMENT DO THEY SEND US LETTER FOR THE APPOINTMENT IN MAIL
