Hi!
My wife is in the us and she applied for me in September 2017 through California service center. When she applied she had green card. She is now citizen since July 2019. We informed NVC about citizenship and they approved our documents with mail subject "Immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified" in August end 2019.  When will I expect interview? If anyone know please reply.

Hi please help me if you can🙏🏻. My case was documentary qualified in the first week of September and category is F-3 and the consulate location is also Mumbai. Is it possible we may get the interview email this year or how long a wait should I expect? Thank you

The email or the interview ? I also got to know that they’re taking between 2-6 months to send out the mails for certain visa classes. Is it possible to get it earlier than 6 months ? Thank you for the prompt reply.

Hey folks,

I noticed several of your posts today, and I really do appreciate your helpful comments and the guidance that you have provided others. My wife and I are in a similar situation, and I just updated our timeline on our profile as well. Basically, we received our "Documentarily Qualified" email from the NVC on 12/18/2019, and are still waiting to receive an interview letter from the NVC finalizing her interview date at the Mumbai Consulate. Based on your personal experience and estimate, do you know when we can expect this interview letter to arrive? I am assuming sometime this month or by April at the latest, but I hope I am not being too optimistic.

Our timeline in a nutshell:

I-130 USCIS receipt: 02/08/2018 (priority date)

I-130 USCIS approval: 08/07/2019

NVC case creation: 10/24/2019

NVC documents approved: 12/18/2019

NVC interview letter: Still waiting...

Best,

Arnie.
