Following this thread.

My husband’s status was placed to administrative processing since Oct 30th and the required documents was received Oct 28. I called US embassy to escalate this case 2x this week and the Visa status changed to Issued on Nov 14. I saw people’s threads calling 2go at MOA branch even before they received a text. They succesfully got their passport by them picking it up from the branch. Wondering of doing the same thing today. I heard visa is delivered at 5pm weekdays.

Most embassy's post their instructions as to what takes place and required documents. Within that set of instructions you will find information on how to get your passport. Sometimes you need to pick it up, other times the send it to an address you registered or some send it my carrier. Here is what your embassy states.

If the visa is issued, your passport and documents will be available in approximately 7-10 business days at Aramex office that you already selected for pick up or delivery.

Hope this helps.

Your answer is for USEM in Manila not for Algeria.

Pleas don't hijack someone elses topic. Start your own. Your topic has nothing to do with his topic.

You are in AP and the fact that your dates are changing means they are working on your file. NO ONE can tell you how long it will take. Each case is different and each embassy is different.

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a consular officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement when they apply. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on the individual circumstances of each case. Your mileage may vary.
