This is a good thing overall. There were issues in regards to her father being a former diplomat and when he stopped being one in regards to her being a citizen. It doesn't help that she wanted to kill Americans for jihad

I see a lot of adds when I am on the laptop, but none when I am using my iPad.

Back on topic, it really hinged on whether diplomatic immunity was still in effect for her father when she was born. That's an interesting issue -- he wasn't a diplomat when she was born, but still had immunity because he hadn't notified the US government of this until after. I think though that she had a reasonable argument to make because she had been treated like a US citizen, and had been given a US passport. This sounds pretty reasonable to me.

I am not so sure that's the legal issue here. Maybe there's a moral issue, but it seems to be whether she was an American to begin with.

I think the legal issue is whether she was ever a USC to begin with.  So far, it appears the courts are saying no.  As to a moral issue, well, that should be left to her family.
