Sorry ...I wasnt clear......I plan to join my fiance for her interview. Our petition was approved Aug 14...then it was sent to NVC....then from there we never received confirmation...or any updates on what was going on. Everytime I checked the online site.....it wouldnt  pull up anything.....next thing I knew  it said "Ready" (which Someone here told me it meant the case was at the Embassy already). It took about 6 weeks after it changed to "Ready" to received the instructions Packet from the embassy. Actually it was awesome we received that email Oct 24 (her  birthday....best gift  ever!!!!). So I instantly created an account and paid the 265 (i had to pay 1st to see the open slots available). I knew  this was coming....I just wanted to save like 1200 ...so my tip  for anyone going thru Bogota.. 265 to  the Embassy.....medical exams are 300 pesos ($100)...blood work 300 pesos ($100) and if you need vaccines 265 pesos (which you can waive and get the shots in the USA...but I figured its cheaper there) .

Thanks for the info! Is your fiancee from Bogota? I am asking because I noticed all the embassy approved doctors are in Bogota and my fiance is from Medellin. Trying to think how many days he needs to be in Bogota for medical appointment and embassy visit. Thanks!

So our interview is on Dec 13th....we called Dr.Monica....she asked when was our interview and gave us an appt. for Dec 11th. Then we called the laboratory for blood work.....they asked when was our Dr. Visit and they gave us an appt. for Dec 9th.   The fingerprints appt. was given to us when we scheduled the interview which is on the 11th 730am. ....doctor exam is at 3pm....so we are good.

Last time, he did his fingerprints in Medellin (for visa B1/B2), do you need to do the fingerprints in Bogota for the K-1 Visa?
