Us menfolk?

Whoosh..gun aficionados want and expanded base of public support, but contradict that view by assuming weapon caliber is gender specific.

Have you ever shot a .45 caliber pistol? The vast majority of women find a .40 to big for them to shoot as a everyday weapon. So a .45 would be out of the question for many women because it is a even more powerful firearm. The vast majority of women I know that have firearms usually have a 9mm, .380, or even a saturday night special.

I am not being sexist at all but just stating facts.

I am not offended in the slightest, just having fun with your "old" language.

Just at the range, no reason to own one for me, just a fun education. I had shot 9mm back home  that actually recoiled more (or felt like it). My host had a Springfield XD and another 9mm for me to compare. He had different types of rounds for the 9mm , some of them had more kick.

I got a great lesson on managing  my  stance better and working with the recoil and gently bringing the barrel level instead of fighting it. Also after awhile the noise is less impactful.

Once I did that my groupings improved.

Lesson: with the right training anyone (even womenfolk) can improve their accuracy and enjoyment.

Yeah if you carry a 9mm then you should hollow points for the ammo.

20 years ago, I would have agreed with you.  But if you're carrying for self defense, I prefer critical defense or other ballistic-tipped rounds.  They outperform traditional hollow points and won't get jammed up with the padding from clothes and jackets.   The ballistic performance is outstanding.  Especially for a weak round such as the 9mm.

Yeah, no need for me to carry.

Why not? My 5 ft 2 mom carries a .22 revolver everywhere. My wife used to hate guns now she loves them

Specialty?  They're available everywhere.  Even online.

If I buy online then I buy in bulk of 1k rounds or more

Pistol packin' mama? That's a song in Fallout.

I really don't feel the need. I feel safe in my environment and wouldn't want the risk of the weapon falling into the wrong hands or discharging. It's one more thing to worry about.

I respect others and their right to carry. It's not for me. I would not be staying long enough to get any value.  I don't know about importing a handgun to Sweden.

One of my Portland girlfriends is proud of her S&W to the point she had her custom pearl grips dyed in a hot pink shade to coordinate with her hot pink Louis Vuitton bag!
