Disgusted. I thought better of both of you. At least two people are in critical condition. I don't make light of these events as they're unfolding. I dint make light of anything not even close. What difference does it make at what point during the tragedy I point out the obvious. does it change the tragedy? 24 hours  4 days? you tell me

Glad no one was killed.  And I realize chaos ensues as events unfold, and news agencies feel the need to fill columns with words and politicize stuff.  But I have to ask... why is this even in the story?

 

Former Rep. Katie Hill stood in her backyard in Saugus as helicopters circled overheard searching for the gunman. Hill graduated from Saugus High School in 2004, when active shooter drills were never discussed.

I swear to god a reporter just said werds to the effect.. we always hear after the fact that there were usually signs, almost always these signs are revealed by the survivors ..

I agree that it really didn't need to be in the story. News outlets are just trying to feed people's curiosity and eagerness for more, and it ends up being gross and disrespectful of the dead.

I don't think that's okay either. But please don't make this about me or what I think. I think ALFKAD and yuna are taking the right tack here, though it really doesn't matter what I think.
