Hello to all of you that replied to my topic, 2 years or so ago. Here’s just a little update. I emailed a couple forms for her interview in the middle of October. I got a interview date on Halloween for November 14th. Which is today. She went to the interview prepared and they only asked her 3 questions and told her that her Visa will be ready in a week. Glad to find out that all the people that said, ya right she won’t get was wrong. And to all the people that had incite full information about how to go about it I thank you very much. I will be going in February and I will not be waiving to her as I walk into the airport, because she will be coming home with me!

Hello! Very good that she got the visa. Remember her medical results will be valid only for 3 months since the day it was  issued, take that on consideration and make sure she enters the united states while it is still valid.

I read the old post you shared. I think people were concerned that you would be deceived in the relationship. Even though she  just got the visa, your journey have just started and  she will prove her sincere love in the coming years.  Good luck and best wishes on your journey.

Thank you for the additional information. I just looked at her exam envelope and it expires May of 2020.

It is widely known that the medical is generally 6 months (unless extenuating circumstances apply)

YMMV

The only date that will matter is the expiration date on the visa.  With that being said, the validity of the visa is tied to the validity of the medical exam.
