Romney and Collins will vote yes to go forward with Bolton and witnesses.

 

Alexander will vote no.

 

Murkowski will tell us tomorrow. 

 

Either Murkowski votes no and it's unequivocally done, or she votes yes and either Roberts 1) breaks the tie in favor of Democrats (to extend the trial) or 2) due to wording, he lets a 50/50 vote stay which means it fails (same as a no vote). 

 

Any avenue of "no" means McConnell likely has the Senate voting on the full trial (both articles) Friday night (possibly into early Saturday morning) which means Trump can be acquitted tomorrow.

 

Trying not to laugh, Cruz just accidentally said the President will be convicted by the end of the weekend, the guy interviewing him tried to correct him but he insisted on talking so the guy let his "convicted" statement stand. Can't help it, that was funny as hell.

That Schiff can stand up there on a floor of another body and say the nonsense he's saying as if it should be taken seriously is just embarrassing. Even worse, swamp things like Collins and Romney take up this lunacy, Collins for the polls (thinking she can appease both sides of this), Romney because he hates Trump far more than he loves America.

Along with the delay of the articles of impeachment, the House managers deployed a slow drip of supposedly damaging information. First they put Lev Parnas out as a “bombshell” witness who would bring Trump down. Parnas is indicted for various crimes and is something of a hustler and influence peddler who worked his way through Washington and supposedly had some type of negative information about Trump.

While the argument that Rudy Guiliani shouldn’t have been working with him in any way has merit, it’s a difficult argument to make while walking hand-in-hand with the same individual. Senate Minority Leader went so far as to invite Parnas to be his guest at the trial, which made the scene look more like a circus than a deliberative effort.

Late this week, House Foreign Affairs Chairman Eliot Engel issued a press release saying that he had been given information from a disgruntled former employee of Trump’s in mid-September to look into the firing of Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, suggesting additional witnesses needed to be called. A good time to release this information — if it needed to be released, that is — would have been four months ago or during the House’s impeachment proceedings.

These tactics of deploying information late to create “bombshell” news stories are losing their effectiveness post-Kavanaugh. Republican senators — perhaps with the exception of Mitt Romney, who didn’t even learn this lesson after he was called a racist, hair-raping woman murderer during his presidential bid — are finally wising up to the operation played by the media and Democrats.

Impeachment Is Killing Trump Derangement Syndrome

It was always over once it was clear that Trump had the votes to survive a Senate trial.

And if he does, then what’s the point? The ratings declines reflect public sentiment that the trial is pointless and fatigue with Trump Derangement Syndrome that had buoyed the media for years.

You can only hit the rage button so many times. And then the rats will no longer stir from their cages.

Doesn't matter anymore.  There will be a moving van on the White House lawn on Monday as Pelosi shows Donald and Melania to the door.  It's over.  His goose is cooked.  All those high crimes are going to unseat him.  He's not fit to run the country,  what with all those bankruptcies, and machismo talk he did back in the day.

 

Hopefully Nancy had had some new pens made for signing him outta the White House and into the poor house.
