Murkowski evidently leaning toward no witnesses after a talk from Mitch.

Romney and Collins even considering this still, have some TDS issues to overcome.

Even though Sinema, Manchin, and Jones are talking about defecting, it's going to be like Kavanaugh where, if they do, they'll go the Manchin route and do it when the outcome is already figured out.

On the bright side, they're now on the record that if they attempt to go to a Senate trial decision and fail (meaning more "witnesses"), they want to hear from Hunter, the Whistleblower, etc. Of course, there's no reason to.

Sadly, I may well have to give up my ability to vote Murkowski out of office.

Ingraham nailed it last night:

Watch the Manchin part and try not to laugh.

As someone who, for most of his adult life, avoided the Republican party because of neocons, it's nice to finally see them at odds with these people. Neocons are warmongers, they're not fiscal conservatives, they're not "conservative" in any way, let alone "principled", in their governance.

Thankfully the Trump Presidency has been an astringent not just for bringing the toxic left and their antics to the surface, but corrupt bureaus, and neocons. Just hope in several years, they remember it.

I still would vote her out. Don't get caught up in politics of the moment and let it distract you from the big picture.

The fact that she made it this far (and is magically undecided like three Dem senators) is no mistake. Remember Kavanaugh, remember everything she's said about Trump and done in the Senate. If she were a principled person she'd stand behind reason, and she knows what reason is. The worst thing to do is treat these people like (literal) idiots. There are plenty of people in the Senate who hate Trump's guts (and by some measure are even swamp things), yet were principled enough to see this for what it was and not hesitate to go after the sham. She's not doing what she knows is right, she's trying to appease her swamp buddies, and portray herself as someone considering both sides, but it's an act that's easy to see through. I would definitely praise her for the moment if she votes to end the trial now (or rather, not call witnesses) on Friday, but won't change my position on the fact that she needs to go.

Note: I did not say I was giving up my desire,. but my ability, to vote her out.  I doubt I will be an AK resident much longer, due to REALID requirements.

Seems to me on the witness thing. Lets call them.  each side gets 6.  The pubs did not get to call any in the senate not on the Dems list.

Lets put Biden, and Schiff under oath and put them on the stand. No way the senate is going to convict anyway.  Heck lets call Hillary also and put her under oath and ask a few questions.

Susan Collins was pissed at Jeffries (House Dem on the House Counsel) who couldn't answer why they kept saying Trump committed crimes yet didn't include them in the articles.

Also, who's up for some old replays of Schiff on Bolton?

Schiff in 2005 on how Bolton is only interested in the "next job", his "politicization of intelligence", why Bush would pick someone who has that "lack of credibility":

Schiff on Bolton in 2018 about how he's a bad choice, he can't think of a worst choice, going to exaggerate things, proclivity to "act without thinking", "love of conspiracy theories", compared him to Joe diGenova:

True, and still an option if I opt to maintain my AK residency.

As to Burnt - A REALID requires one to apply in person, as opposed to DL renewal online.

You're not in AK?

Won't change the outcome.  Let's end this impeachment charade ASAP.

The Bidens can be hammered on the campaign trail.

Pencil Neck et al. can be charged with frivolous Whatever separately from this case.

Just end it, and let Sanders/Bennet/Klobuchar/Fauxcahontas campaign again.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").
