Hey we sent our application on July 2019 and today (November 13 2019) we got sent an RFE. We sent everything they wanted from us the first time and I just dont know what else could they possibly want. Anyone with a similar experience that got approved after this?

RFE’s aren’t uncommon. We recently got one this week in the mail. We missed a checkbox on the application. Sometimes that’s all it is. Sometimes they want something more. Just follow the instructions in the letter they send you and you’ll get an NOA2 eventually after.

I received one too. For a divorce decree even though it was submitted with my original petition. Try not to over stress!

It may be something as simple as they misplaced a document you sent. I received an RFE asking for my birth certificate, even though I'd already sent it in my original application.

It is pointless to attempt to speculate on the nature of an RFE before reading the actual notice. You just have to wait until you receive the actual RFE notice, then promptly, correctly, and completely respond to it in the time permitted for response. RFEs can be sent out at any time during the immigration process. The key to your success is to respond as described above.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
