So my pd has been current for about 6 weeks and I haven't received my welcome letter. I contacted nvc and

was told if I don't receive it by next week call back and it will be placed under review. Could someone explain what does this

mean and how long would it take?

It's not uncommon for it to take 60 to 90 days for NVC to issue the letter 

YMMV

O.K. Thank you. Isn't the letters sent out based on Priority dates?

Just read someone got theirs with a further date than mine and I am trying 

to understand how  this process works.

The waiting seems to be taking forever.
