Hello,

I know I have asked this before but never got a real answer...just maybes....lol

I filed all the AOS paperwork for my K1 husband back in August and already did the biometrics and etc...so now we are doing the waiting game thing until they release his stuff. We wanted to go to Florida in 2 weeks but wanted to fly. Will we have issue being that his I-94 is now expired? I hear all we need to take is his passport (obviously), marriage certificate and the AOS notification paper?? Will we have issues? Has anyone actually done this and was ok?

Sorry...a little nervous to rock the boat on anything because of the way immigration is right now lol!

Thank you kindly!!

Of course, tons of people travel all the time while I-485 is pending.

If you're doing domestic travel, you're fine.  Just show your ID as normal.  My wife and I traveled throughout the U.S. and all she showed was her foreign passport and Military ID.

Additionally, the VJ Working and Traveling During US Immigration Forum: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/115-working-amp-traveling-during-us-immigration/ , is a great resource for all similar matters. Your question or other similar topics are often discussed at that forum. As a matter of fact, the second posting in that forum speaks about dealing with CBP at TSA Airport Checkpoints.

Good luck on you immigration journey.
