in the general election, and, post-election, being a willful participant in efforts to undermine democratic elections. All of those other corrupt people she surrounds herself with, the corrupt people who support her, coincidentally feel the same way about Trump.

As awful as I find Killary, I don't lay the effort to undermine democratic elections at her feet. Yes, she's a cog, and a very large cog, but she is a product of the whole corrupt Democrat party machine. What you are witnessing right now with this illegal impeachment is the Democrats bringing their entire arsenal against democracy to bear. Perhaps Clinton is one of the shadowy figures behind it, but it's a moot point. It is the entire party apparatchik behind this, not just a single individual, no matter how awful and desirous of power she is.

Don't believe it. New York politics is just as dirty, perhaps dirtier, than Washington politics. New York politicians have hated Trump for decades, and have been trying to bring him down for that long. There might be some I's he didn't dot, or some T's he didn't cross, but allegations of dirty business dealings are just how New York politicians label those who won't play their scummy games.

The US public for years has seen, like it or not, Hillary as a lawyer/attorney/consultant, First Lady, US Senator, and Secretary of State. Also Presidential candidate multiple times. There's a reason she hasn't gotten over the top, and that's because the American public sees her as corrupt. And nothing was more instrumental in proving that then her actions in recent years in the 2016 party primaries, in the general election, and, post-election, being a willful participant in efforts to undermine democratic elections. All of those other corrupt people she surrounds herself with, the corrupt people who support her, coincidentally feel the same way about Trump. Even the corrupt Republicans, the Bush-type neocons, the ever-demonized Koch family, are buddies with Democrats now.

Of all the people to accidentally reveal the depth of corruption in US politics, I would've never guessed it would be Trump. I thought the rule of law was in trouble under Bush, seeing no one but Libby get punished for the trillions of dollars and more deaths than 9/11 itself, but this is like a five alarm fire. Trump wasn't exactly a clean guy himself, we all know this. The problem is, he wasn't in the "accepted" group of candidates, which was clear in the GOP primaries. It was clear the same elites (media, government, members of Congress, etc.) that wanted Hillary to win also wanted Jeb, Lindsay, Kasich, or even Marco or god forbid, Ted Cruz to win. Plenty of Democrat voters saw what happened to Bernie, what she and the corrupt party, corrupt media, that tried to hand her the nomination, did, still do today, as virtually none of them have learned from 2016, which is why we're still talking about it. It's actually somewhat promising how much contempt and disdain for these corrupt elites people across the political spectrum had, and how bipartisan it still is.

I would wager that those who desperately want people to "move on" from what Hillary has done, the damage to the Republic she and this small but ridiculously powerful and influential swath of elites, across both major parties (e.g. Congress), in the media, in the federal government, have done (and are still doing).. I'd wager they're doing so because they have difficulty coping with the 2016 election result, and rather than come to grips with why, after the conspiracy ####### failed, just want it to go away. The inability to cope with reality is precisely what these people are banking on.

Bravo! Bravo!

The worst part is no seems to care about the corruption but want to hang the only one exposing it.

While it's clear vastly more corrupt reasons surround why Trump admin people are finding themselves targeted by this web of relationships in federal bureaus and Congress (the same people that wanted Hillary, Jeb, etc. to win and feel entitled to be part of, if not higher than, the voters in terms of decision-making in elections) that largely come back to the same people, the fact that Trump is surrounded by criminals (and selfishly motivated people that don't mind jumping ship to the corrupt camp to make a quick buck off of TDS) even in his own circles is not a mere matter of not crossing T's or dotting I's. What crossing T's or dotting I's is, is at worst, writing bad checks. It is not money laundering, it is not siphoning millions from taxpayers, it is not wire fraud, and so on.

I'm an independent, and I support what Trump has done (and thus will be voting for him in 2020) because I see no better candidate (of any) has done for the economy, for standing up for the USA, American workers, I support him on immigration, and I support him because of the corruption he's up against, but do not try and get me to support him as a person, it won't happen. He isn't entirely a victim, and he certainly hasn't done little or nothing wrong.

If there's fault with Mr. Trump, I believe it's that he misunderstood just how resistant the swamp would be to being drained. He will make much more progress during his second term. Which, thanks to the Democrats, is firmly in the bag.

I'll agree to disagree. As long as he has your political support, it's enough.

Agree. He should have known they would resist when we have a 2 party system and they both collude to keep things the same. Really all he can do to affect lasting change is keep appointing judges. He has already seen the limits of executive actions as he has undone most of Obama's agenda by using executive actions.

The House and Senate will be recovered by the Republicans in 2020, and now that the RINOs have either been pushed out, retired, or expired, Obamacare will finally fall, and we can return to a capitalist democracy. Things are looking very good. Thank you Nancy.

The sheep in the solid blue states want "free chit." (beautiful, I shall be stealing this!) Those in the red and so-called "purple" states have leveler heads. They have seen what Democratic leadership looks like, and even those who don't like Trump personally understand that the Democrats abuse their power when given even a smidgen of it. It will be more than enough to return to sane leadership in congress.
