Thanks for the link!

So according to this, if I can provide some proof that I'm going along with him, they might accept my Affidavite of Support?

I think the easiest to do right now is to try and open a bank account in the US.

Proof of seeking employment should also be easy, I can perhaps provide screenshots of applications I submitted?

This gave me much to think about

I think it might be best to consult an experienced Immigration Attorney on this. I saw where you mentioned that you have a sponsor but you have not filed US taxes. Expatriates US citizens  are still required to file income tax returns. You might need to file past due tax returns to ensure that this might not affect your case.

Generally, a change in date on the USCIS main page just means that the application has been touched. That status update will remain until the case has been approved or if a RFE is required. On successful approval , your case is forwarded to the National Visa Center. You will then submit your affidavit of support and your DS-260 visa application. On successful review of your documentation, your case is scheduled by NVC for an interview at a US consulate or embassy.

Ok. thanks for the reply, but I do not understand what statement of support? and I still have a question how long waiting for approval if the site USCIS will be done that is approved or the status will change and the page on the message will be the same? How long does it take to wait for success from her i-130 to visit the embassy. o.o.

My husband currently doesn't own a house in the US. Prior to coming to the Philippines, he was renting an apartment as he lived alone. Our plan is to look for a house after we get there (we might be renting the first 6 months). Right now, we still don't know which state we would be moving to.

As such, can we leave this question blank "At which USCIS office will the beneficiary apply for adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident?" under Other information > Adjustment of status?

That is the I-864, which is filed at the NVC.  You might want to review the processing steps in the guide here on VJ.

It depends on:

1) how long your processing takes at the NVC

2) how long it takes to get an interview scheduled at the consulate.

You might want to update your profile to include your country (sp the flag shows up) for specific answers and complete a timeline as well.

Hi,

I want to ask. How can I file for expedite online? I saw that they had certain grounds to accept the expedite, but are they willing to accept other valid reasons? Like health concerns?

I'm applying for my husband and we just learned that I'm pregnant. But due to previous miscarriages, my doctor considers me a high risk patient and medical services and medication isn't very good here right now. Can that be a valid reason? I need my husband to go with me for support. I can't do this without him.

Hi Everyone - I am new here but I wanted to just share the limited experience I've had so far. I submitted an online petition on July 11, it was touched on 12th and today. Then today I link to NOA1 popped up notifying us our PD as 7/11/2020. We will be patiently waiting.  Is there by any chance a July 2020 thread that I also need to share this info? Thank you all!

PS. the Bottom of NOA1 shows our application has been sent to Potomac
