Thoughts?

I don't think we will see any USCIS approvals slowing down by a lot, at least not for IOE cases.  Maybe the paper ones, but it seems like people have access to the IOE cases.  We are still seeing a lot of approvals.  But... there's no telling what will come in the next few weeks.  Maybe these approvals are still coming from people at the office, and not from people logging in from home.  Or maybe they are only allowing a certain number of people in... Hard to say...

No, NOA1 is a 797 receipt notice. It will show under "documents" in your online account after a week or so, and be mailed to you as well.

I’m confused.  On March 18 we submitted online, and the same day we got a receipt notice with IOE numbers , with a PD date of the same day, and on the bottom of it, it says Nebraska Service Center.

So this isn’t the NOA1?  Does this mean Nebraska is our SC that’s listed on our receipt notice?

If it's a 797 Notice of action then yes, that's your receipt and Nebraska your SC for now. Service Center can change and you might not get a transfer notice since the service center shouldn't matter for online filers.

Filed yesterday in the evening, receipt notice is available today on myuscis showing Potomac address. Sooo if service center doesn't matter then the stimated processing times are not to be trusted, will those be different from people filing by mail?

IOE process is too recent to know that for sure, but so far it seems to look like that, yes.

Yes - this is what the USCIS Tier 2 Officer I spoke to confirmed as well.

The beneficiary (if abroad) does not have to sign it. It’s clearly stated in instructions.

Yep - that's exactly what it says.

By the way, it also says that if filing from abroad you don't need to submit passport photos - at least not yet. Also, why would you write your name on the back of such photo if submitting online where you drag and drop the photo into the relevant file upload? It makes sense to write your name on a physical passport photo because that has the potential of getting misplaced, but not with an electronically submitted petition.

We got a RFE :( I am assuming this is a request for initial evidence since our PD is February 2020. Our RFE does not make sense. They are saying they never received our I-130 form even though we did it online. The RFE also says if they do not respond in 60 days to contact them. Does this mean someone has touched our case early? How in the world do they not have our I-130 when we have a receipt notice that confirms our I-130 petition, confirmation of payment, etc. How would they even get our contact details without filing the I-130?

Looks like you already sent the response.  What was the RFE and what did you sent to the USCIS?

Wasn't sure if the number you get is immediate but the IOE receipt number you receive will be your case number - same as the NOA1 receipt number. You will still have to wait for the official NOA1 though which can differ from a day to a couple of weeks.

Just wanted to ask- has anyone that filed online recently (within the last 3 months or so) gained any approvals? I'm seeing a lot of very quick approvals that have been mainly by those that have mailed in via paper form (both here and Facebook). Just wondered if there was a trend there.
